Last Spring, we received several boxes filled with hundreds of hand-crafted gifts for orphans and children in Russia. These hackysacks and handbags were made by American kids at the summer camps of Lake Geneva Christian Center in Minnesota. Hundreds of children in Russia received these gifts over the spring and summer along with American chocolates. Kids and their supervisors were impressed that despite what the news says, someone in America thought of them in a good way. It doesn't take much to break down the walls that divide us. A kind gesture can go a long way, as this one certainly did!
